How many years have you been in business?

Clint Tuel Roofing, LLC was established in Longview, Texas by Clint Tuel in 1979.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes! If you are within the Longview and surrounding area, we offer estimates at no cost to you.

What does your price include?

Our estimate will include everything needed to repair, replace, or construct your roof and prevent any future damage. Most commonly they will include the following:

   • An accurate count of shingle squares needed calculated using satellite imaging technology
   • Underlayment- synthetic or ice and water shield
   • Turbines, power vents, or ridge vent for attic ventilation
   • Roof jacks
   • Decking, soffit, fascia, or gutters that needs replacing
   • Any other material needed for your home’s specific needs

If you have problems not related to your roof that are noted during the original inspection of the roof, we will make sure they are attended to simultaneously. For example, if you need new gutters we can handle it for you. Our goal is to provide you with one true assessment of the cost required to repair your roof or re-roof your home according to our highest standards. We only use superior materials that we can stand behind, whereas, some competitors may use lesser materials to cut costs. Inferior materials can lead to leaks and damages to your home and belongings. When comparing prices be sure you are comparing ‘apples to apples’. Notice the shingle brand and any extras on the estimate to make sure you are getting the best deal for your money.

Do you clean up after a job?

Absolutely! Preparation for cleanup after a job starts before roofing ever begins. We cover shrubs and survey the site to avoid damage to sprinkler systems, gutters, patio furniture, etc. After the job is complete, a thorough inspection of the site ensures that no shingles, nails, or trash remain. Our goal is to leave your property in better condition than it was at the beginning of the job.

How long does a job typically take?

As with all types of construction, the time it takes to complete a job varies with the size and difficulty associated with each individual residence. Something imperative to remember is that weather plays a large role in our schedule and how long a task will take. If there is inclement weather before we begin work on your home, please understand that this may delay our start date as we have had to pause our current jobs and push everyone else back as well. Also, if there is rain or snow while we are in the midst of work on your home, have confidence that we will have your roof covered and protected from incurring any damage due to the weather.

What kind of warranties do you offer?

Every job includes a 5-year workmanship warranty. We take pride in our work and do our best to offer you the highest quality service. Any issues with materials would be covered under a product warranty from the manufacturer which is available upon request. If you need assistance with a product warranty, our office is available to answer any question you may have. Shingle manufacturers offer varying extended warranties that require the use of specific materials. If you are interested in one of these programs, please let us know up-front so we can provide you with an accurate estimate that includes those materials specific to the warranty you are interested in.

What type of roofing do you provide?

We offer a variety of roof types including metal, imitation slate, and composition. The most popular of these is composition which comes in several looks from 3-tab to architectural. Many insurance companies offer discounts for impact resistant roof covering materials such as a metal roof. If you purchase a metal roof from us and need help with the paperwork, just give our office a call. To guide you in your decision making process, we have resources on this site and samples in our office. Remember, the appearance of a shingle varies with the color of the brick and paint, and the style of the house.

Do you work with insurance claims?

Yes, we can help! When you call our office, be sure to let us know it is an insurance claim so we can get you started in the right direction. We have years of experience taking care of our customers and working with their insurance companies. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. We understand how confusing the process can be.
